Wenn wir nicht gerade in Beijing oder am Umherreisen sind, wohnen wir in Weihai, an der Ostspitze der Halbinsel Shandong, direkt am Meer (Bay von Bohai). Unsere Wohnung befindet sich in einer Wohnanlage mit dem Namen International Seaview City.

If we're not in Beijing or travelling we live in Weihai at the eastern tip of Shandong peninsula, directly at the sea (Bohai Bay). Our flat is inside a compound called International Seaview City.

Da wir nur eine Treppe hinauf müssen, brauchen wir den Lift eigentlich nur, wenn wir schwere Gegenstände dabei haben.

Because it's only one level up we don't need the elevator except if we have to carry heavy things.

Der Vorraum wird mit den Nachbarn geteilt. Da man in China die Schuhe auszieht, bevor man in die Wohnung geht, ist dieser Raum sehr praktisch.

The vestibule is shared with the neighbours. Because people take off their shoes before going into a home this room is quite nice to have.
