Die Schwägalp liegt auf etwa 1'300 Metern am Fuss des Säntis (2'509 m), des wahrscheinlich bekanntesten Berges der Nordostschweiz.

Schwagalp lies at about 4'260 ft at the foot of mount Santis (8'230 ft) which is probabely the best known mountain in the north-eastern part of Switzerland.

Ende Dezember sollte hier eigentlich Skifahren angesagt sein.

At the end of December skiing should be the thing to do at this time.

Aber Wandern ist offensichtlich realistischer.

But hiking is obviously more realistic.
